The Katal is aself-defense and self-protection system.
It is aimed atcivilians wishing to ensure their self-defense in an increasingly dangerousurban environment.
Katal is also aimed at professionals who want to improve their skills inself-protection, survival and mastery of violence.
The Katal wascreated by security professionals: policeman within the intervention serviceand close protection officer.
Having observed the ineffectiveness of certain self-defense and self-protectiontechniques during our training and their application in the field during theexercise of our functions, we decided to combine our knowledge and experiencein combat sports in order to creating a system that meets our needs, we havenamed it: the katal.
Katal techniques have been developed to be effective under conditions of extreme stress such as:
Verbal aggression
The surprise attack
The protection of a third party
The encirclement situation
It was designed as a catalyst for self-defense and self-protection techniques, hence the name Katal.
It is a synthesis of techniques such as: Aikido, Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Judo and Krav Maga.
Katal is complementary to all disciplines such as Boxing, Grappling, MMA and Muay Thai.
In the event of aggression, fear is an automatic reaction that prepares us to face danger.
However, fear can be crippling and self-defense abilities can be reduced.
The training takes into account the permanent interaction that exists between the physical and the mental of each practitioner by offering targeted exercises:
"Mental clicks" technique
Stress exercises
Realistic scenarios
